Ångerrätt
You have fourteen days to change your mind, counted from the day after your parcel arrives. You do not have to give a reason, and you do not have to have a problem with the piece.
How to withdraw
Tell us within the fourteen days. Any clear statement is enough — an email saying you are withdrawing does the job. If you would rather use the official form, it is below.
- Email support@mariedaldesign.xyz with your order reference, or post the form below to Nitgatan 6, 441 38 Alingsås, Sverige.
- We reply with the return address and confirm what we have received.
- Send the piece back within fourteen days of telling us.
- We refund within fourteen days of getting your withdrawal, and we may wait until the piece is back with us or you have shown it was sent.
The official withdrawal form
Konsumentverket publishes a standard ångerblankett. You are not obliged to use it, but it is there if you want a form to fill in.
Konsumentverket’s standard withdrawal form (opens on konsumentverket.se)
If you cannot reach that page, write to us and we will send the form by email or by post, whichever suits you.
What you get back
- The price of the piece, in full.
- The standard shipping you paid to receive it. If you chose a faster service, we refund the standard rate rather than the premium.
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used, unless you ask us for something else.
The cost of sending the piece back to us is yours. We are telling you that here, before you buy, because that is the condition of it being yours to pay.
Trying a piece on
You may examine and try on a piece the way you would in a shop. Having tried something on is never a reason for us to refuse a return.
What we can do, and only where it applies, is reduce the refund if a piece has been handled well beyond what checking it required — a ring that has been resized, a cuff that has been bent out of shape, a chain that has been shortened. Ordinary trying on is not that, and we will not pretend it is.
The one exception: sealed piercing jewellery
Earrings and other pieces worn in a piercing are delivered sealed. Once the seal is broken they cannot be returned, because they cannot be resold safely. This is the only exception to the fourteen-day right, and it does not apply to necklaces, bracelets, rings or clasps.
For that exception to apply, three things all have to be true, and we have to be able to show all three:
- The piece was actually delivered in a sealed package. A swing tag or a band around a box is not a seal.
- You were told before buying that breaking the seal ends the right to return. We say it on the product page, in the basket and at checkout.
- The seal has in fact been broken.
If the seal is intact, you can return the piece like anything else. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, cuffs, clasps and parts are never sealed and this exception never applies to them.
If we did not tell you about this right
If we ever failed to inform you of the right of withdrawal before you bought, the period is extended — up to a maximum of one year. This page exists so that situation does not arise.
This is separate from a fault
Withdrawing is about changing your mind and lasts fourteen days. Reporting a fault is a different right, it lasts three years, and it is set out on reklamation. You never lose the second by missing the first.
